Dr Alex Tran
Graduated from The Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, University of London in 1995. After completing training in General Practice, he worked abroad in the US, before returning to become a Principal in General Practice in the UK. He has a keen interest in minor surgery, preventative and aesthetic medicine. He is Clinical Director for Havering Clinical Commissioning Group and collaborates with secondary care consultants in redesigning and shaping future health care services in Havering.
Dr Mary Burtenshaw
Graduated from Barts and the London School of Medicine in 2003. She followed a career in hospital medicine for several years before training as a GP. She has a keen interest in sexual health and contraception, as well as quality improvement. Dr Burtenshaw is a Clinical Director for Havering CCG. She also runs a clinic for coil insertions for long term contraception
Dr Meera Kalathara
Graduated from medical school in Glasgow University in 2005. She completed her paediatric training scheme before entering GP training in 2014. She joined Hornchurch Healthcare in 2017 and has a keen interest in paediatrics as well as teaching.
Dr Gemma Barratt
Intercalated in molecular medicine and qualified as a GP in 2007. She previously had a background in paediatrics before moving abroad to Australia and gaining membership of RACGP. Upon returning to UK, she has worked in Chigwell as a partner until joining Hornchurch Healthcare in 2017. Dr Barratt, is a Clinical Director for Havering CCG.
Nursing in Havering since 1979, RGN, Community Nurse Specialist – HV-independent Nurse Prescriber for over 10 years, special interest in Older adults and long term conditions, promoting healthy lifestyle and aging.
Dr Ben MolyneuxQualifications
Qualified from the University of Bristol in 2008, and has been practising in London since then. He has a special interest in urgent care and men’s health and has an additional diploma in women’s health. In addition to his clinical work, Dr Molyneux also has held a variety of local and national leadership roles for the NHS and BMA.
Dr Anish Gandecha
Graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2014. He conducted hospital posts in Essex including acute medicine, orthopaedics, rheumatology, palliative care and paediatrics, for which he also holds an additional diploma in child’s health. He has an active interest in medical education.
